Crop growth status maps and yield estimates for apples and tomatoes have been produced for pilot fields in the Guba – Khachmaz economic region in 2021. Maps are presented as data layers in web map application and allow to monitor the crop growth status over the growing season. They also provide early yield estimates.

  Operational use of newly developed crop production estimation system to monitor the crop growth status and provide early crop estimates is planned in the Guba-Khachmaz region during the 2022 growing season. Data for apples and tomatoes will be automatically generated for mapped fields in the region, and early estimates at field, district and regional levels will be calculated and presented here.
